Program of Child Education

This program has been running since 2000from organizational own source. Firstly we have selected the children whose families have no ability to ensure their education. Now there are (1200)  students are in our pre-primary school and they are provided free of cost basic education. We are committed to promote these students up to primary level.

Program of Poverty Alleviation

ASF’s microfinance program plays a very important role in the field of poverty alleviation. Micro-finance was the area where the changes had the greatest impact. It was noted in the review that the poor results of the credit recovery component of the micro-finance programme  had been having a demoralizing effect on the whole ASF’s programme, undermining social development efforts.

Health Care, Immunization and Family Planning

Program of Health

Health Care, Immunization and Family Planning e are regularly conducting awareness-building program to make the people conscious about birth control, and advantage of use of contraceptives and birth pill. We are trying to assist Govt. Family Planning Program& Immunization through Thana Health Service and Vaccination program on National Vaccination program. We are also providing free treatment and pregnancy allowance to the rural poor people by Paramedic Doctor and distributing medicine and Family planning material from our own source. We also motivate the people about HIV, Diarrhea, and advantage of Vaccination.

Program of Emergency Response

The northern and south­western part of Bangladesh experienced a severe cold wave which may last up to end of the December 2013 and January’2014 The cold wave combined with dense fog had an adverse impact on the agriculture and fisheries sector as well as on people’s health and their way of living. Poor people in the northern part of the country suffered most during the cold wave. According to a reputed national daily newspapers the local population faced a significant rise in respiratory illnesses, and in some cases death, due to the cold weather people died from the cold wave across of the country. Arafah Shkati Foundation  has been distribution 1,200  blankets in 1200  victim families Dhaka city corporation in Mohammadpur slum area.

Unity is strength, keeping forward this truth ASF started to organize the poor, distressed and underprivileged people of the rural areas. The rural people, women in particular are socially degraded, economically dependent, professionally unemployed and personally underprivileged. These poor and distressed people have little access to social, political and family decision-making process. Socio-economic condition of the People and make them conscious in order to enable them to identify, analyze and understand the reasons for their distress and dependency as well as find out possible solutio

Program of Water & Sanitation (WATSAN)

Water & Sanitation Water & Sanitation Program is one of the major development activities of ASF. Safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation is a must for the safety of life as well as sound environment. ASF undertook this program in order to ensure safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation in the rural area because the people of this area are ignorant, unaware and indifferent about the importance and need of safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation.

Qurbani

Program of Qurbani

On Eid Ul Adha, which marks the completion of the annual Hajj, the Muslim world celebrates and honours the tradition of the Prophet Ibrahim (Alahi Salaam) by sacrificing an animal and distributing the meat to those in need. In 2014 Arafah Shakti Foundation is celebrating its 5^th Qurbani campaign. During the years since our formation, we have reached thousand  of the Bangladeshi poorest with our Qurbani projects. Our Qurbani programme, part of our Arafah Shakti Foundation Feed the Bangladesh campaign, allows donors to select those they would like to see benefit from the ritual sacrifice that they make on the occasion of Eid Ul Adha. We organise the distribution of fresh meat to vulnerable people afflicted by poverty or affected by natural or man-made disasters. Each package of meat distributed provides a household with meat for one week. They are just two of the countries Araefah Shakti Foundation is working in to help those in need. You can share the blessings of Qurbani with them.

Program of Anti Human Trafficking

Establishment of human and civil rights, keeping clean and fresh environment, tree plantation, action against violence, trafficking of women and children, prevention of early and multi marriage, action against dowry and above all income earning schemes are some of the major action point. They have already undertaken those for immediate action. The participants conduct Rally, Campaign and Demonstration, Possession, Group meeting, Community meeting, Spouse forum and above take personal and group initiative in implementation their action points.
